This full color, illustrated book is based on Meagan's rescue dog, Scruffy, she adopted in 2006. It is the first of Grand Canyon Project™'s children's series Hike and Seek.™ The story follows Scruffy on his travels, learning about all of the critters and historically significant tales of the Grand Canyon. The book also includes a Did You Know section about the Canyon Critters along with helpful hiking tips for pet owners. The book looks to promote awareness and support for animal rescue efforts by educating and introducing audiences. AND this book is printed in the U.S.A.!
